I got this as a Valentines Day gift. i used to be truly trying to buy GA100-1A1, however i'd accept this perfectly (even though this can be a decent $20 dearer.) Here's my a pair of cents... The Good: > appearance super cool, super refined and totally different from a distance. > two hundred meters water resistance. > customary G-Shock functions like chronograph, timer, four alarms with snooze, auto-illumination, world clock, 12/24 hour time etc. besides an awesome tachometer. > terribly rugged double clasp wrist band. The Bad: > The LED illumination is really within the bottom of the watch base and is ORANGE!! Gimme a blue/green lightweight over this any day. > this is not black, its gray. Not too dangerous, however black is black! :) Verdict: All in all this G-Shock appearance refined and distinctive. I own a G-Shock Gulfman additionally, however that is not been touched ever since I got this one. This one is certainly robust and rugged.
